The online mail-in absentee portal opens for mail-in ballot requests on Saturday, September 19th and stays open until Tuesday, October 20th at 11:59pm ET.

Excused, In person absentee early voting can take place Wednesday, October 21st - Friday, October 23rd and October 26th to 28th, 2026,
This takes place at the Boyle County Clerk’s office which is located at 321 W Main St #123, Danville, KY 40422.
Bring a photo ID with you when you go to cast your ballot.

No excuse early voting happens from Thursday, October 29th through Saturday, October 31st.
You can vote at The Showroom which is located at 2405 Lebanon Rd.

The General Election is on Tuesday, November 3rd. Polls will be open from 6:00am to 6:00pm ET and you can not be turned away if you are in line by 6:00pm ET.
There are 6 locations in Boyle County that any qualified, registered voter may choose to vote on Election Day. They are:

If you’re voting on Election Day, you cannot be turned away if you are in line by 6:00pm.
